Aged for 2-3 months, Provolone cheese has a pale yellow to white colour and sweet taste with a very mild taste. It is a type of aged pasta filata (stretched curt) cheese, which originated in the Casilli area near Vesuvius. Mainly produced in the Po River Valley regions of Veneto and Lombardia. Pasteurized cow’s milk.
