Marzolino di Pienza with truffle is a luxurious Italian cheese hailing from Tuscany, particularly the area around the town of Pienza. Marzolino is named after the month of March (“Marzo” in Italian), as it is traditionally produced during the springtime when the sheep graze on fresh, lush pastures, which imparts a unique freshness to the milk.
