Primitivo is the symbolic grape variety of southern Italy, widespread in Abruzzo, Basilicata, Sardinia and Campania. However, it is in Puglia that these grapes express their maximum potential, thanks to the hot and dry climate of Salento, devoid of particularly intense rainfall. The proximity to the sea further enriches these already excellent grapes, giving life to a warm, fragrant and enveloping red wine.
