The white wine par excellence of Friuli Venezia Giulia is the former Tocai, today known to most as Friulano or Tocai Friulano. From the Friulano grape, a white wine with a straw yellow colour is obtained, well structured, fragrant and fruity with a pleasant acidity and a balanced flavour. On the nose, we immediately notice a beautiful note of bitter almond which opens the way to a complex trail of medium-intense floral and fruity aromas, with a delicate hint of acacia flowers and wildflowers. In the mouth is dry and fresh with a good minerality and a rounded flavour that recalls apple, pear and white peach.
