From a particularly suitable vineyard with southern exposure, the best bunches of Malvasia Aromatica di Candia are selected and harvested when fully ripe. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks with selected yeasts. After alcoholic fermentation, only 10% of the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in French oak barriques and continues its maturation in wood for 6 months. The wine rests 2 months in the bottle before release.
Lively colour with straw yellow hints. Nicely bright and very clear, it trickles unctuously down the glass. Frank, open bouquet, aromatic and perfumed, very floral with acacia flowers, clean and fresh notes of fruit and spice, rose, mango, lychee, pineapple, passion fruit, cardamom, and saffron. The aroma, on the palate, is persistent and the freshness harmonises well with the generous structure, nicely aromatic and flavoursome on the finish.
