The Grillo grape is a white grape variety widespread in Sicily. Vinified in purity and with the aid of cryomaceration, Grillo can give wines of great organoleptic depth, full-bodied, fragrant and with good longevity potential. The wines obtained from Grillo are of a light and bright straw yellow colour. The fruity and citrus aromas integrate with the floral notes of wildflowers and orange blossoms. On the palate, the wine is fresh and well-structured with a pleasant, slightly savoury and mineral finish. Grillo is capable of producing wines with high alcohol content and also has the vocation of being particularly predisposed to ageing.
