Zampone is stuffed pig’s trotter. The foot and shin are boned and stuffed with ground pork snout and other ingredients. This typical dish of the holidays is already cooked, just to heat up.
Cooking Instructions: Dip the sealed bag in water, bring to boil, cook over low heat for 30 minutes. Remove the bag from the pot and cut the top corner of the bag, drain the gelatin. Open the bag completely, remove the Zampone and serve already cut on a hot plate.
