Mont’Albano was founded in 1985 as a result of the intuition of Mauro Braidot who, unlike the majority of the producers of the time, converted his five hectares of vineyard to organic production. Certification followed in 1990, a first for the region. Cultivating the land with respect, working in harmony with nature and safeguarding the natural environment are key elements of the Mont’Albano organic philosophy.
Grape Variety: 70% Merlot, 30% Refosco
Alcohol Volume: 12%
Perfume: The bouquet is of herbs and deep red fruits, with some toasty berried flavours coming through
Flavour: Soft red plum mingling with a delicate floral personality
Pairings: Cheeses that are not too strong, pasta dishes or cured meats.
