Made with Nerello Mascalese grapes, considered the king of Etna’s native grape varieties. The grapes are grown on the Carranco estate, in vineyards that are about 50 years old. Vinified in concrete tanks in keeping with the oldest tradition and aged in large oak barrels, this wine expresses the volcanic personality of its homeland. An intense minerality, acidity and a very elegant finish with light, silky and savoury tannins, accompanied by intense fruity scents alternating spicy notes.
