Monte Astili – Pecorino del Pardu.

Monte Astili owes its name to a mountain near Cardedu, where the cheese factory is located; it is a pecorino cheese made using pasteurized whole milk, with a white paste tending towards pale yellow, with a slightly spicy taste.

It’s flavor is slightly spicy.

Use: Monte Astili can be served at the beginning or at the end of a meal, with a glass of red wine, but can also be grated on pasta or other Italian first courses.
It is also very good served with all types of jam.

Aging: more than 60 days.

Ingredients: pasteurized sheep milk, salt, rennet, lactic.

Allergens: milk.

Shelf life: 2 years.
